The view from my lab here in Wolfenbüttel Germany. I can glance over to the Computer Center or Cafeteria for inspiration as I ponder the many mysteries of J2ME programming.

After jumping off the train in Hamburg I scurried to snap off a few pictures before my friends lost me. The lighting and balance aren’t very good but it’s enough to remember the moment. Hamburg was great but we didn’t have enough time to really soak in the city. I’ll be back.
Snapped the day before Defcon in the registration line. A very good time I must say. Several “interesting” moments over the weekend.
The view from my uncle’s pad. Very relaxaing. During the day, quite a few cars and busy people. The occasional ambulance rescuing the old money at the top of the hill…
The Getty Museum in Los Angeles. My mother insisted that I visit the “Getty.” To anyone within driving distance of this place, go! The gardens alone are worth the $5 parking fee.
Hermosa beach. My California time is off to a good start!
I recently moved to California. While passing through Utah I drove through this amazing canyon. Unbelievable sight first hand.
I took advantage of one of the lookouts on the path surrounding Devil’s Tower for this shot. There wasn’t enough information for all pieces of the pano to be generated properly. Unfortunately I did not find this out until I was back at the cabin piecing the photos together. I guess this will suffice.

A park bench with a few visitors over the years. Only a few more generations of lovers before the whole thing is unreadable. I snapped this while visiting Devil’s Tower in Wyoming. I know there is a large flaw in this image’s construction but my skills in image manipulation are not to be flaunted.
Another random photo, this time of some prairie land. Some errors in this construction as well… Must have spaced my photo out a bit too wide. Oops.
Completely random panorma of a lake. Taken somewhere between Madison and Salem, South Dakota on US-Hwy 81.
One of the largest panoramas I’ve made. 180° view of the James river in Huron, South Dakota. The apartment I stayed at while in Huron is located just a few blocks from the water’s edge. The fellow I stayed with was a fishing nut and (I believe) picked out the apartment for this specific feature. […]
Originally part of a larger panorama I had to split the north and south halves to get a better “stitch” of the images. No real inspiration behind the image other than the weather looking plain crazy all day.
north
south
For the geographically curious this was captured 11 miles west of Madison, South Dakota on US-Hwy 81.
A small Scottish themed eatery in Watertown, South Dakota was the home of my cousin’s wedding “rehearsal dinner”. Nice place, good food, congratulations Jamie.
Here is the church where the ceremony took place. Holy Name is also located in Watertown, South Dakota.
My abode during the first three semesters off campus. My room in the house was dubbed the “tent room” due to it’s oh-so-intelligent shape. Cozy, I liked it.
