Given the previous evidence, perhaps it wasn’t the best idea for Nora to buy us tickets to Mayumana for Christmas. Mayumana is an Israeli dance/percussion group of the same genre as Stomp. Throw in a little Blue Man Group and some skit humor and you have Mayumana.
The show was held in the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao. I’d never been there but I can now see why I “had” to see it. I felt a bit intimidated but, after donning my Hefner robe and putting in my monopoly guy monocle, the locals didn’t notice a thing.
Only a few words to say about the performance: heavily miked water pipes as cadence percussion…yes, the instruments were quite unique. No filming was allowed during the show of course but I managed to grab a few minutes of their after show performance in the lobby.

We loved the drumming! So cool that you and Nora could see it, the concert and the building are both fantastic! I know about the bouncing leg, I do it, Scott does it, and Grandpa Dean always did it too. Great video. God’s blessing in 2007.
