So I just ran 3DMark 2006 on my workstation. I have nothing to compare this to so I’ll just post and hope that my six month old investment is still OK. ![]()
3DMark Score: 1664
- SM2.0 Score: 639
- GT1 - Return to Proxycon 5.183 fps
- GT2 - Firefly Forest 5.472 fps
- HDR/SM3.0 Score: 579
- HDR1 - Canyon Flight 4.823 fps
- HDR2 - Deep Freeze 6.757 fps
- CPU Score: 1407
- CPU1 - Red Valley 0.452 fps
- CPU2 - Red Valley 0.700 fps
well i haven’t run 2006 yet, but i did 2005 the other night. and promptly had my computers ass handed to it.
total score was around 400 something…just sad
I don’t know why they make it so extreme…if I’m running this pretty benchmark on a computer that can actually take it, why I can’t I see something at more than 5 fps…
your computer sucks mike!!! My lappy 486 will kick your compys butt.
hey, i think 3dm06 is as far from reallity as it was 3dm05 when it was released.
one could mean they are payed developing this to engage people to buy the latest hardware that actually isn’t necessary.
also there’s a big lie in directx as it works that wasty you cannot imagine. with today’s devices even more performance would be possible when the code would be more friendly . thats just how it is - neither you believe or not.
