This is just incredible…
I have trouble overcoming the deception of old black and white photography. I can never really “picture” the scene in color. Here are some amazing pictures of Russia taken before WWI by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii (1863-1944).
Simply amazing and quite a shame that we don’t have more pictures of this and earlier eras…
