I know anyone who checks slashdot or boingboing will have already seen this but it’s just too unbelievable. Hitachi has been working on expanding magnetic storage into the 3rd dimension. They’re so excited about their proof-of-concept working that they’ve endulged the evilest of fetishes and made a 70’s style disco flash animation about it.
I dig it! It’s almost like one of the cartoon public service announcements they’d throw inbetween childrens programming when I was just a little guy.
Anyway, get down with your bad self and dance the perpendicular dance!
